Decadent, delicious but healthy alternative to baked custard – make this recipe one of your new favourite late night desserts.
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 tsp honey
- 1/3 sea salt
- 330 ml low-fat milk
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Method Steps
- Pre heat oven to 175-180°C.
- Add the eggs, salt and honey to a bowl and whisk together.
- Heat the milk in a small saucepan.
- Add the heated milk gradually to the egg mixture, whisking constantly.
- Stir in the vanilla extract. Pour the mixture into a small ramekin. Place the ramekin in a deep baking dish and fill the baking dish with water so it comes halfway up the ramekin. Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes or until the custard is firm. Serve warm or cold and enjoy.
